OVERVIEW

Right Formula were asked to leverage their extensive experience and knowledge within the Formula 1 space to identify and explore compelling  partnership opportunities, within the sport, for Acronis, a  global leader in hybrid cloud data protection and storage.

The automotive market represented a key growth market sector for Acronis. Therefore, Formula 1 was an ideal platform to accelerate business performance, as it provided a perfect fit to showcase how Acronis solutions and reliability are required in high-pressure manufacturing environments.

The objective was to research and identify a team that would be capable of forming an authentic technical collaboration and that would implement and credibly showcase innovative data protection solutions, including backup, disaster recovery, software-defined storage and file sync and share.

Results

We audited a number of teams to identify where opportunity potentially existed, in the first instance. We subsequently and diligently distilled the list down, based upon agreed key criteria, to identify the team that best matched the pre-set partnership parameters and desired outcomes, which were extensive and all-encompassing.

By providing regular counsel and expertise we were able to conclude a Global Partnership with the Williams Formula 1 Team and craft a generous and appropriate suite of assets. The partnership, which was built around product integration, has yielded significant results in building brand awareness and driving B2B relationships.
