Right Formula stands up to be counted at record breaking Silverstone British Grand Prix
The British Grand Prix at Silverstone welcomed a remarkable 560,000 people over four days, making it the largest crowd ever to attend an F1 Grand Prix.
It serves as new barometer for the growth of the sport. The 2026 figure represents a roughly 60% increase on the crowd in 2016, the year before Liberty Media took over managing the commercial rights of the sport. This one event has an economic impact for the local region of over £100 million, according to Autosport Business.
Right Formula was at the heart of it across hospitality, PR and Communications and Content Production.
For this year’s record-breaking event, Right Formula managed activations for a total of 20 high-profile clients, including several premium CEO programmes. In total Right Formula dedicated 55 staff members to the task. On the hospitality and experiences side alone, our staff and clients worked through over 600 guests per day at Silverstone.
Our team worked tirelessly around the clock to deliver unforgettable trackside hospitality, seamless operations and exclusive activations, ensuring every single guest experienced the very best of Formula 1 and exceptional British hospitality.
But it wasn’t all go-go-go. A short distance from the vibrant energy of Silverstone, in a tranquil, premium setting, Right Formula took the time to invite clients and friends from the Formula 1 ecosystem for a relaxed evening of drinks, canapes and conversation on the eve of the racing action.
We hosted a panel discussion on the AI driving Formula 1, with our President of F1 James Allen moderating Dean Locke, Executive Director of Broadcast & Media Operations, Formula 1, Ruth Buscombe, F1TV analyst and former Chief Race Strategist, Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 Team and Rob Smedley, Podcaster and former Ferrari and Williams Race Engineer.
Throughout the evening, the conversation revolved around the scale of Silverstone, the next stage for AI and many other topics of the moment.
